Starting Line Responsibilities

Listed below are a summary of the starting line workers responsibilities:

Obtain flip cards and holder Saturday
Set start watch to key time (or use key time watch) Saturday
Set up flip cards/frame at start Sunday morning
Conduct start:

  • One person on watch/flip cards
  • One person writing numbers of starting
    riders or marking cards at start
  • One person lining riders up and etc.
 Will take approximately 1 to 2 hours
